Trinity Tactical Training Academy provides concealed carry training courses for Virginia, Maryland, D.C, Utah, FL, Many others (most requested).
Home Defense

COVID-19
Adapting to uncertain times, Trin-Tac is safely administering firearms training in accordance with government mandates and guidance from health officials. Classes are held outdoors under a 10 x 30 tent to maximize airflow and enable social distancing to the extent possible During Summer. We are currently back in our Office space with limited seating . NOTE: Masks are mandatory!

The instructor is not only knowledgeable, but patient and understanding. As someone who is familiar with guns the "country way", I had much to learn about not just gun safety as it is applicable to state and national rules, but I also needed training on proper gun etiquette.
The instructor provided room for questions and training as well as a safe and relaxing environment for course study. In addition, safety precautions in light of Covid-19 were practiced.
He was encouraging during shooting practice, professional, and considerate of our time and others in the field. In addition, a variety of weapons were provided for participants to utilize should they not have a weapon of their own, although personal weapon usage was encouraged for even more personal training.
What is also appreciated is the prompt response during my initial reach out for services. ALL of my questions were answered, I received an email thanking me for my interest, an emailed receipt, as well as a follow up email for next steps.
I will definitely attend more classes!! The professionalism, comfortability, and knowldege and skill set of the owner and instructor makes Trinity Tactical Academy well worth the money!

I've spend 27 years in the military with 13 years as USAF Security Forces (military police). The exceptional firearms training that my spouse and I received from Marcus at Trinity Tactical Academy was among the best I've had in my life; covering both VA as UT requirements. The class size was set-up to prevent the spread of COVID-19 with safe-distancing and face masks required. The classroom was air conditioned as well. The one-on-one instruction woven into the curriculum ensured a solid understanding of the materials by each student. There was in-depth coverage of laws, firearm handling and safety, firearm nomenclature, considerations and proper use of firearms; all while emphasizing firearms safety and discipline. I highly recommend Trinity Tactical Academy in Woodbridge, VA for all your firearms training and instruction.

So wanting to be a responsible new gun owner I signed up for the initials weapon class for $100.00 - which is scheduled every week. I enrolled but the site didnt immediately ask for payment - ok. Eventually I received a confirmation as well as instructions to send the funds to a cash app....from there I would receive the location for the training. mmmm kkkkaayyy. Sounded shady but I took the leap of faith. Sent the money. Waiting....no response.... no response. I waited a couple of days then sent a "hey did you get the money I sent" email. I received a Yes response and here is the address for the class......residential. mmmmm kkkkaaayyy. Mind you I researched the site, the other yelp reviews were not recommended mmmmm kkkkkk. I was heck bent on supporting small local business so I proceeded. The response I received back wasn't the most friendly but I said ok law enforcement - military sometimes = no personality. I will follow up on Friday after my 9:30 class. They did both text and email me a reminder with the address and the class time.
Ok just finished my class...... AMAZING! Marcus is a great instructor. I received my certificate while in class. I can't wait to take his class at the range. I am not sure why yelp is not acknowledging the other reviews. He does practice social distancing and has hand sanitizers at each table.

Stellar firearms training! Instructor "SoLo" provided affordable training instruction in a safe manner and in a safe environment (outdoors during COVID). SoLo is personable and knowledgeable of firearms. Being well-versed in MD, VA, and UT, allowed for a seamless training experience.

I've wanted to take a firearms knowledge and safety course for a while, but I kept procrastinating for months. I finally bit the bullet and decided to actively pursue a class. Looking for someone in close proximity to my home, I was directed to Trinity Tactical's site from another website.
Marcus, the instructor, was very accessible by phone and answered my questions fully. I signed up for the course via website and received confirmation which allowed me to submit payment via Cash App. I took my class on a Friday morning.
Due to Covid-19, the class was held outside of his location in a tent. Our class was small, so it allowed for social distancing and the outdoor air circulation put me at ease. The class was easy to follow with safety techniques, situational awareness, and state laws covered thoroughly. Pace was good and subject matter was interesting, interactive, and not dry. We finished at a local range, with hands-on instruction.
I recommend this company for your firearm training, whether you're a novice, need to brush up, or an experienced shooter. Class availability is excellent, especially with demand for classes in Northern Virginia being so high currently. Go for it!
